INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL CONFERENCES
The most relevant national and international conferences, to which the NeuroMuscular Taping Institute took part, are reported. For each conference we will report a report of the event and where it will be possible to upload the works presented by the various speakers on the topic concerning the NeuroMuscular Taping.
What is the difference between the various types of taping?
Conferences are an ideal means of explaining the NeuroMuscular Taping concept of decompression and dilation methodology has particular application characteristics that differentiates it from other types of kinesiology taping and bandages. This new method of taping application (known as NMT) was created in 2003 in Italy and enhances clinical reasoning while specific decompression taping applications are the basis of this innovative rehabilitation technique. Correct applications are used for reducing pain relief, sports injuries, muscle tension while improving athletic performance, rehabilitation and overall physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy results.

INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NEUROMUSCULAR TAPING CONCEPT
INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NEUROMUSCULAR TAPING CONCEPT
Methodology, Results and Clinical Experiences
Auditorium Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, Indonesia
21-22 January 2017
In recent years the NeuroMuscular Taping have given important results in post surgical, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. Cardiovascular stroke, central nervous system and spinal trauma, pediatric CP and degenerative neurological diseases are costly treatment areas which require time and resources that many health care systems have difficulty in caring for. High levels of results means that NeuroMuscular taping is at the forefront in the discovery of new therapeutic techniques which improve patient outcomes without overloading their economic situations. NeuroMuscular taping is a non-invasive, non-pharmacological treatment system, that is capable of offering a mechanical stimulation promoting cellular metabolism and activating the body’s natural healing abilities through normalizing body neuromuscular proprioception.
NeuroMuscular Taping was introduced in November 2015 and has been quickly well accepted in Indonesia. Indonesia with its growing population faces difficult health based problems in the future. Stroke, cardiovascular disease, CP, autism, Down syndrome, Parkinsons, Multiple sclerosis, respiratory disease are some of the current day and future rehabilitation challenges. Cost effective treatment options through professional training is primary in any government health service planning foreseeing future needs.
This NMT Indonesia Symposium is the work of our dedicated and enthusiastic teaching staff and highly trained practioners. Research and clinical studies from various health areas will assist in understanding of how NeuroMuscular taping may improve our treatment choices. Indonesian clinical trials together with published articles on the effectiveness of NMT will follow you in making the best therapeutic decisions improving you patients.

CONVEGNO TAPING NEUROMUSCOLARE RIABILITAZIONE, SPORT E FITNESS RIMINI, ITALY 4 GIUGNO 2016
CONVEGNO TAPING NEUROMUSCOLARE RIABILITAZIONE, SPORT E FITNESS
RIMINI 4 GIUGNO 2016

PROFESSIONAL GOAL: NMT Lymphatic drainage is the most extensive and in-depth therapeutic taping seminar specific for lymphatic congestion related pathologies available for all professionals working in medicine. The seminar is a hands-on classroom experience that teaches this new taping methodology in physical rehabilitation. NeuroMuscular Taping Institute’s training programs detail the origin and development of this unique taping technique recently introduced to the USA, Asia, Africa e South America. The training program takes the participating student through the fundamentals of this clear cut treatment program giving each the necessary hands on guided instruction. In depth coverage of its efficacy together with overviews of anatomy, lymphatic and vascular pathways and physiology which are the underlying theoretical background for this neuro/muscular/vascalolatory/postural method of taping specific for lymphatic and vascular drainage. All courses are given by certified instructors who will clarify the NMT system of rehabilitation through guided application procedures, treatment protocols, case studies, and research giving the NMT practitioner an immediate and effective clinical tool. The participant during the seminar will follow the theoretical development of treatment techniques obtaining the highest level of skills and qualifications. The NMT classroom setting is 90% practical and 10% theoretical.

Overview
The NMT Course offers a hands on classroom experience structured as 10% Lecture and 90% Laboratory demonstration and individual practice. The Lecture section covers the clear basis for NeuroMuscular Taping decompression taping in clinical situations with a rapid review of the anatomy and physiology behind the efficacy of NMT. The Laboratory portion will demonstrate applications, tape/patient positioning, taping techniques for use on lymphatic congestion. The particular training aspect of NMT courses, involves the lecturer guiding each student through each application maximizing individual learning curves. All participants are expected to actively participate in every aspect of the practice laboratory. Final certification will be given upon completion of both written and practice examination.
