ONLINE Courses

Multimedia ONLINE training GOAL

The training seminar is ideally a hands-on skill developing classroom experience that teaches this new taping methodology in treatment. NeuroMuscular Taping Institute’s online training programs have been modified to give the best explanation possible, through quality video and filming and teacher explanation for each application in the program. Manual skills are extremely difficult to learn in a multimedia and distant learning experience. The examination process has been widened to cover, as direct as possible, intervention between the teacher and the course participant to encourage skill development and learning. An in-depth online questionnaire covering 125 questions and short answers, with proposed clinical situations, on the NMT treatment methodology and fundamentals of this clear cut treatment program, offers the participant a professional-active learning process. Skill testing takes the participating student through online self applications (with their own model) in small online groups giving each the necessary hands on guided instruction by the teacher.  To encourage an outstanding and productive training we require the maximum collaboration between course students and the teacher.

KEY POINTS: Online training offers the following aspects; part-time, live-time, interactive, tutor led workshops, to enrich the training process

  • Courses from 18 to 60  hours on line full immersion
  • Tutorial assignments
  • Self and group study group
  • 2 to 4 hour comprehensive examination process
  • 2 to 4 hour NMT Feedback Session 1-3 months post course
  • Direct contact with NMT teacher through specific course WA group for 2 years.

Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation

NMT Rehabilitation modules are a series of in-depth therapeutic taping seminar available for all professionals working in medicine. The seminar is a hands-on classroom experience that teaches this new taping methodology in physical rehabilitation specific to physical therapy rehab. NeuroMuscular Taping Institute’s surgery rehabilitation training programs detail the origin and development of this unique taping technique recently introduced to the USA, Asia, Africa e South America. The training program takes the participating student through the fundamentals of this clear cut treatment program giving each the necessary hands on guided instruction. In depth coverage of its efficacy together with overviews of anatomy and physiology which are the underlying theoretical background for this neuro/muscular/vascalolatory/postural method of taping specific for physical therapy. All courses are given by certified instructors who will clarify the NMT system of rehabilitation through guided application procedures, treatment protocols, case studies, and research giving the NMT practitioner an immediate and effective clinical tool. The participant during the seminar will follow the theoretical development of treatment techniques obtaining the highest level of skills and qualifications.

Overview

the technical and manual skills provided during the course. In particular the application techniques of neuromuscular taping as part of physical rehabilitation for patients with postural conditions. The course has been developed and designed to expand the theoretical and above all practical and manual learning methods of neuromuscular taping. All courses are extremely popular because they provide a high level of learning and student and professional satisfaction. The NMT Course offers a hands on classroom experience structured as 10% Lecture and 90% Laboratory demonstration and individual practice. The Lecture section covers the clear basis for NeuroMuscular Taping decompression taping in training situations with a rapid review of the anatomy and physiology behind the efficacy of NMT. The Laboratory portion will demonstrate applications, tape/patient positioning, taping techniques for use pediatric conditions. The particular training aspect of NMT courses involves the lecturer guiding each student through each application maximizing individual learning curves. All participants are expected to actively participate in every aspect of the practice laboratory. Final certification will be given upon completion of both written and practice examination.
