NeuroMuscular Taping Indonesian Newsletter August 2024

The objective of the NMT Indonesian newsletter is to keep healthcare professionals, educators, and students informed about the latest advancements, training opportunities, and clinical applications of NeuroMuscular Taping (NMT) in Indonesia. By sharing updates on research, webinars, workshops, and collaborative initiatives, the newsletter aims to foster a deeper understanding of how NMT can be integrated into various medical and therapeutic practices. It serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and community building, promoting the widespread adoption of evidence-based NMT techniques to enhance patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.

In this Edition of the Indonesian NMT Newsletter:

  • Sports Medical Training (Stage 1) at Universitas Katolik Indonesia, Atma Jaya (Jakarta): The first phase of certification training in sports medicine, utilizing NMT techniques.
  • NMT Webinar on Neurological Pathologies: Over 550 participants explored how NeuroMuscular Taping (NMT) can aid in managing neurological conditions.
  • Introduction to NMT at Mataram University (Lombok): An enthusiastic presentation of NMT at the university’s Neurology Department.
  • NMT Introduction at Udayana University (Bali): A session introducing NMT to the Neurology Department.
  • Completion of Neurology Base Training in Makassar, Sulawesi (August 2024): Successful conclusion of the foundational NMT training.
  • Rehabilitation Training in Surakarta (Java): A four-day certification course for physical therapists and neurologists focusing on NMT applications in rehabilitation.
  • Webinar on Pain Management (UMS University, Solo): A highly informative session on using NMT for pain treatment.
  • Lymphatic Training Workshop in Yogyakarta: A workshop on NMT’s role in lymphatic health and therapy.
  • Lymphatic Webinar: Over 220 participants learned about the therapeutic benefits of proper NMT applications for post-surgical recovery, lymphedema, and overall health promotion.
  • Open Day at Universitas Katolik Indonesia, Atma Jaya (Jakarta): More than 200 medical students engaged in ongoing collaboration in education, clinical research, and healthcare with the NMT Institute.

The NeuroMuscular Taping Institute provides certification courses in physical rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, post surgical rehab, occupational therapy, speech therapy, remedial therapy, nursing as well vascular and lymphedema treatment and management. All trainings are classroom settings to enhance skill development and clinical reasoning creating optimum therapeutic results. ONLINE courses are not available.
